I'll tie up a few loose ends here then move on to the next chapter.
First of all, we had a great time at La Rochelle in February - all that time ago - here's a watercolour painting of me spinning made by Elsie Herbestein (link here). Check out her website and see videos and still images of her travels, amazing. We met some lovely people and had lots of interest in our Great British products! Hopefully we will be returning next year.
the reason being, we have decided after nearly 10 years of living in France that it's time to move back to the UK, so by July, we will be living and working in the Scottish Borders. We have already met some brilliant people - the ladies of the Haddington Spinners (link here), Margie at Moondance and lots of people who tie up with the Crossing Borders arts trail (link here) - check them out for some great handmade arts and crafts.
Our furniture left yesterday on a van bound for Kelso and with it almost all of my stash - but I am left with one work in progress and a bit of fibre for spinning and of course my spinning wheel - it was a bit of a wrench I must say and it took some persuading for me to let go of it all....still, only 10 days and we'll be reunited!
