I'm in full swing now for Woolfest, busy spinning and dyeing my lovely fibres - pictures to follow soon...
This is just a little image of some of the houses and the harbour side cafe at St Abbs. The local producers market takes place each Friday between April and October in the Ebba Centre (village hall). I'll be there tomorrow with all my lovely produce - hand spun yarns, buttons, knitting needles and crochet hooks, Shetland wool kits, patterns and lots of ready to wear hats, scarves, shawls etc. Come along and see what's on offer - there's always fresh fish, lovely wholesome breads and cakes, sometimes even locally made chocolates, a charcutier, herbs and spices, lovely turned wooden bowls, platters etc., potions and lotions made from organic herbs, herbaceous plants from a local nursery and all manner of other lovely things! There's even a cafe in the village hall so you can get a lovely cuppa and a fab scone to go with it (or lunch if you like). You could even take a walk around the harbour and maybe along the cliff top path to the beach at Coldingham, lovely place!

JennieI've been knitting and designing for a long time and don't think I'm going to stop anytime soon. The inspiration just keeps coming, there is always a new technique to learn, a new yarn to try out and so many knitters out there in the world sharing their tips and secrets that it's sometimes hard to know what to do next.
