Life is getting busier

At last the photographs of my hand spun yarns have been taken.  Please take a look at the yarns here and see what you think.  I hope there will be something to suit everyone's taste and budgets too.  If there is something you like but there isn't enough, please drop me a line here to let me know what you would like and I'll give you an idea of how much that might cost.  The range of fibres available for spinning nowadays is enormous and I'm finding more all the time!  Coming soon: camel, linen, nettle and yak to name a few.  I'm also working on some lovely humbug Jacob and Shetland laceweight yarns.

I recently discovered crochet and have been having great fun working on some new designs - it's ever so easy and grows so quickly!in crochet  and will be posting photos and details very soon.  Watch this space!

On an out and about note, I was at the Berwick slow food festival a week or so ago as part of the sheep tales and spinning yarns exhibition.  Take a look at the project through this link to see what it's all about - very interesting and inspiring for both old and young alike.  There is another event scheduled for the end of September so do go along if you can to see the exhibition and talk to the people animating the displays - they all have such a lot of knowledge about what they do and it's really interesting to speak with them.

Finally, I will be having a stand at Kelso farmer's market starting this Saturday the 22nd September between 9am and 1.30pm, selling everything shown on the website, so please do come along and say hello.
The market is on every 4th Saturday of the month but here are the dates for the rest of this year in a link to the town's calendar of events here.

I've been knitting and designing for a long time and don't think I'm going to stop anytime soon.  The inspiration just keeps coming, there is always a new technique to learn, a new yarn to try out and so many knitters out there in the world sharing their tips and secrets that it's sometimes hard to know what to do next.
