I started spinning like mad again today in time to restock before my big tour in September...
Diary dates
Starting with Thursday 4th (and each Thursday in September), between 10am and 1pm, we have the Woolscape Project workshop in the Visitor Centre at St Abbs where we are creating knit and crochet beasties, birds and plant life for our display at the St Abbs Wool Festival on the 25th October. Workshops cost £5 per person and all equipment and materials are provided - as are tea, coffee and cake....
Next up is our regular market at St Abbs Ebba Centre in St Abbs on Friday 5th between 10am and 4pm.
Saturday the 6th sees us back at the Buttermarket in Berwick upon Tweed - that's underneath the Town Hall for those of you who haven't found us yet! We are there from 9am to 4pm. The weather forecast isn't bad, so come and see what Berwick has to offer - there are some great cafes and a lovely brisk walk around the town walls will work up an appetite.
Tuesday 9th between 10am and 3pm the St Abbs market are popping up in Wooler at the Cheviot Centre.
Thursday 11th back to the Visitor Centre at St Abbs for our Woolscape workshop.
Friday 12th again at St Abbs for our market in the Ebba Centre.
Sunday 14th sees us travelling west to the Rheged Centre near Penrith for the Knit and Stitch Show, between 10am and 4pm.
Thursday 18th & Friday 19th we are once more at St Abbs for the Woolscape Project workshop on the 18th and the St Abbs market on the 19th.
Saturday 20th we are hopefully turning up again at Berwick upon Tweed Buttermarket.
Thursday 25th is the last Woolscape Project workshop for September at the Visitor Centre in St Abbs.
On Friday 26th we are setting of for Yorkshire for the second Yarndale event at the Auction Mart in Skipton which takes place on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th September. Over 6000 of you turned out for it last year and this time the organisers have developed the event to include many more stall holders, workshops, cafes and other attractions, so come along and join in a great big wool gathering!
