...and the new fibre range

26/1/2015

My new range of spinning and felting fibres are ready to go!  Lovely Shetland fleece, blended with bamboo or silk fibres make wonderful hand spun yarns or for felting projects.  Super soft and shiny merinos too.  All fibres are £6 per 100g plus postage and packing (in the UK).   Just hover over the photos to get details of blend name and fibre mix.  You can see the whole range of fibres and how to order them on the fluff page here.  As usual, I try to get as good colour representation as I can, but eyes - and monitors - are all different...
Oh the snow it snowed on the green pine trees. Shetland 75%, bamboo 25%
Parma Violet. Merino 84%, bamboo 16%
Shetland blue socks. Shetland75%, bamboo 25%
The autumn rock pool. 100% merino
The iris. Merino 75% Tussah silk 25%
The sea is green. Shetland 75%, tussah silk 25%.
The silvery sea. Shetalnd 86%, bamboo 14%
This is what some of the blends look like when you wet felt with them - pretty as pictures I think!

...the new buttons!

Just some of my new range of buttons, wood, coconut shell and mother of pearl....

...and a happy new year!

13/1/2015

Well it's all systems go for the new season!  So, what's new?  I thought I needed to expand my spinning range - so I thought to try spiral plying, super coils, boucles and beads - here are a few offerings.

I also have a new range of spinning fibres in the most beautiful colourways ... and then there are the new buttons which I have fallen in love with - photos coming soon!

Meanwhile ....

I've been knitting and designing for a long time and don't think I'm going to stop anytime soon.  The inspiration just keeps coming, there is always a new technique to learn, a new yarn to try out and so many knitters out there in the world sharing their tips and secrets that it's sometimes hard to know what to do next.
