The Smailholm summer fete went really well and great fun was had by all who attended. The weather was good right to the end and the only folk who got rained on were those clearing up at the end of the day!
My most memorable sale of the day was some of my handspun finest white Mongolian cashmere for making baby socks - what a lucky child!
I will be spinning away and selling my handspun yarns and knitted clothing and accessories this coming weekend at the St James' Fair, in Kelso, the 1st and 2nd of September. Hopefully the weather will be good to us as it has in previous years and the sun will shine. It promises to be a great day out with lots going on.
