I've managed to find the time this week to thread up my loom with a warp, so will now make time to do some weaving over the next month or two, I've a few workshops to sort out for the St Abbs Woolscape Project and some new stuff to create for same.... but to my whereabouts for the month!
We had a great opening day at the St Abbs Friday Market today with plenty of visitors on a lovely sunny and mild day.
Tomorrow, Sat 12th April we will be in the Butter market at Berwick upon Tweed between 9am and 4pm, good fine weather forecast, if a little windy!
Next Wednesday will see us back in the Buttermarket as the Easter break is upon us and the town full of holiday makers.
Friday and Saturday - the 19th and 20th April between 10am and 4pm we are back at St Abbs again - this week we will be so numerous as stall holders, we will be using both the Ebba Centre and the Visitor Centre, so come along and pick up some locally made goodies - both the eating kind and the gifty-nice-can't-do-without kind!
Then it's back to the regular Friday St Abbs and Saturday Berwick upon Tweed the following weekend, ho hum - must find some time to spin to replenish my dwindling stocks....
