Shetland wool kits
I've designed these colour kits to work up the patterns on the pattern page, but you can use them for anything else you like as well. Great for fairisle work when you only need small amounts of contrasting colours in a bigger piece of work, or for making hats and gloves. You can either buy just the yarn or the yarn with patterns.
Yarn on it's own comes in two weights, 75 grams or 200 grams, you will also get the choice of one of the patterns included, please indicate which pattern you want in the notes section when you order through paypal.
Yarn with patterns comes in the same two weights, but also includes 4.5mm bamboo circular needle, 7 knitting patterns, universal felting calculations & techniques and advice on colour selection & knitting with lots of colours. The 75 gram kit will make one of 5 of the 7 patterns included in the kit; in the 200 gram kit you will have enough yarns to make 2 of the 75 gram patterns plus a pair of mittens or one of the larger designs like the fusion scarf or gaiters.
The patterns are all for knitted and felted items and are available in English or French, when buying please specify which language you want. Patterns are shown on the pattern page and include the following:
Mittens, long beanie, beanie-snug, moebius basket, fusion snug, gaiters and finally, fusion scarves.
