All hats are made in pure wool, designed, hand knitted (and sometimes felted) by me. Patterns available to make yourself here.
To commission a hat made using my own handspun yarns, please use the form here stating which style you are interested in buying, an idea of colours you want - and where you are in the world. There are so many different ways of sending things out and the prices vary so wildly depending on whether I send things by recorded delivery, with proof of posting, signature on delivery, level of insurance required etc., that it's easier for me to give individual quotes for the cost of shipping to wherever you happen to be!

Skybluepink felted cap
This cap is knitted in soft donegal wool and then felted. It has a circumference of 61cms (24") and the length from crown to start of peak is 17cms (7").

British sheep beanie
This beanie is made with a collection of herdwick, swaledale and hebridean yarns in undyed, plant dyed and conventionally dyed yarns. The inspiration for the colours came during a little trip on the Caledonian canal earlier this year, when the hillsides were covered with bracken and new grass, the water icy cold and grey...it was a lovely trip!
This hat has a circumference of 58cms (23") and a length from crown to rim of 23cms (8") Sold - but kits available to order if you want to knit one yourself - £25 plus P&P |
Cable and moss stitch cap
Made with thick tweed yarn in blue.
This cap is knitted in the round with no seaming at all, there is no stiffener in the peak, so you can take it off and put it in your pocket or bag and it won't crease or bend. It has a circumference of 61cms (24") and a length from crown to start of peak of 17cms (7"). SOLD |
Rib and moss stitch cap
This cap is made with thick tweed yarn in red and is constructed using the same no seam method with no stiffener in the brim.
It has a circumference of 60cms (24") and a length from crown to start of peak of 20cms (8"). SOLD |
Peaked tweed cap
In red tweed wool. Same construction as described in the hats above, but this time with a stretch rib pattern.
It has a circumference of 61cms (24") and a length from crown to start of peak of 18cms (7.5"). SOLD. |
